More than a name

Integrated Dental Holdings, a large dental corporate in Europe with over 650 practices, has officially branded as mydentist. 

Already 204 practices throughout the UK have undergone a major upgrade as part of the new branding. Another 500 practices are set to be upgraded and branded this year.

Annette Spindler, chief operating officer at mydentist, said “The new brand is about more than a name, it’s about what we do every day in bringing the brand to life, demonstrating our values and our personality through our people.

“mydentist has been built on our brand values of being trusted, honest, warm and welcoming, understanding, loyal and innovative. We want to use these values to set new standards in the dental industry and deliver an excellent experience to our customers,” says Annette.

Annette concludes: “In the past five years, we’ve grown from 285 practices to 655. And since May, 2013, over 6,600 clinicians, nurses and staff have attended training sessions organised by our Dental Academy. We’re committed to delivering world class service to our patients and world class training to our people.”

The practice upgrade and new brand has generated positive feedback from the dental practices and patients alike.

Dylan Hughes, lead receptionist at a Lancaster dentist practice, said: “The mydentist brand has had a powerful impact on customers’ perceptions of our practice. It has brought us closer to our customers and we are now able to better address their problems. It’s really made a difference to our staff and everyone is excited by the brand. We are now benefiting from more opportunities to advance our career.

Patients have praised the new look and approach as having a nice feel and feedback has included comments such as: “It says it’s a heart of the community type of place,” and “I really like it. It all looks so clean and professional.”
