Entitled ‘A 20-year legacy of excellence: insights from past presidents of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’, the morning will provide an exploration of the BACD’s evolution over the years.
Elaine said, “Chris Orr, David Bloom and I started the BACD and it is something I am very proud of. I have been delighted to see our vision come to life and be sustained over 20 years. It brings like-minded colleagues together, who are passionate about delivering the best care to patients.
“During my session I will look back at how smile design has evolved over the past 20 years, particularly with the advent of digital technology and the concept of digital smile design, which did not exist back in 2004! I will also give my thoughts for the future of smile design.
She added, “I would encourage colleagues to attend in November 2024 to surround themselves with peers who care about delivering exceptional clinical dentistry. Attending conferences is an excellent way to benchmark yourself against current thinking and to hear different perspectives to guide your learning for the future. It is also an opportunity to share and receive support from peers.”
