A practice like no other

30 October 2018

Yorkshire certainly boasts some of the country’s most spectacular countryside. Steeped in history, it also has reams of architectural beauty, and for BUPA, the new owners of the magnificent Old Church Dental Practice in Halifax, their staff will get to work inside one of the most stunning locations in the area.

The external appearance of this beautiful Grade I listed church building, complete with original stone brick work and stained-glass windows, belies its current purpose as a contemporary dental practice, which uses all the latest scanning and implant technology.

The practice has recently been sold by Prem Sehmi for an undisclosed seven figure sum. The deal took less than eight weeks to complete and was overseen by the team at FTA Law. Thomas Coates from FTA remarked, “I have acted for Prem for nearly ten years and he was actually my first ever dentist client. To see what he has done with the Old Church since we acquired it some years ago is highly impressive. It certainly has the wow factor! To be involved in the sale of such a beautiful and well known practice is a great moment for us. The practice will, I am sure, make a fine addition to the BUPA stable and serve as a real showpiece for them in the North of England.”
