Align Technology has announced that its first hybrid in-person and virtual UKI Orthodontic Summit will be held in London on May 20-21, 2022.

Align Technology, a global medical device company that designs, manufactures, and sells the Invisalign system of clear aligners, iTero intraoral scanners, and exocad CAD/CAM software for digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry, has announced that its first hybrid in-person and virtual UKI Orthodontic Summit will be held in London on May 20-21, 2022.

Across the two days, orthodontists from the UK and Ireland will have the opportunity to learn from UK and international speakers including Alessandro Greco, Marissa Bell, Frederico Migliori, Steffen Decker, Kenji Ojima and Martin Pedernera.

The lecture content will cover both clinical and practice growth aspects, and lecture highlights include:

  • Evaluating the predictability of the ClinCheck Software and the Invisalign System
  • Forming a practice digital ecosystem
  • The subtle art of treating growing patients with the Invisalign System

Attendees to Align’s UKI Orthodontic Summit have the option to attend the event in-person at the Hilton London Metropole - or to join remotely. Whichever option they book, participants will be able delve into a range of trending topics relevant to their clinical practice.

By joining the UKI Orthodontic Summit in-person at the Hilton London Metropole, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in interactive, live Q&A sessions with the speakers and members of the Align team. Even those attending remotely will be able to participate through the online platform.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Abigail Lander, Align general manager, ortho channel for both the UK and Ireland, said, “We are excited by the prospect of offering orthodontists the option of attending our UKI Orthodontic Summit in person or virtually for the first time, so that as many specialists as possible are given access to a number of global speakers who will share their best practices and clinical cases. No matter where you are based in the country - there is a chance for both Invisalign providers, and those who are looking to be trained to treat patients with the Invisalign system, to enhance their clinical know-how during this unique event.”

The event will also see the launch of the 2022 UKI Orthodontic Summit Awards with four categories: Most Inspirational Teen Case, Most Inspirational Adult Case, Most Transformed Practice and Most Transformed Smile.
