Peter’s extensive experience of the dental market, in particular his demonstrated track record in sales and marketing and product launches, makes him an ideal advisor for Calcivis.
The Calcivis Caries Activity Imaging System will, for the first time, allow the real time detection and visualisation of calcium ions released by demineralising caries lesions in routine dental practice.
Peter brings 23 years of experience in the dental and medical device sector built upon his medical and sales and marketing experience. As a VP and general manager of Dentsply Ltd, the company became the UK’s leading manufacturer of dental products during his 11 year tenure during which sales increased by over 50 per cent. Latterly as managing director of ReeSearch, Peter was instrumental in successfully launching a pharmaceutical product to the dental market. He is currently a consultant and part time interim chief executive officer of Hambley Ltd, a company specialising in the design and development of products for dental and medical industry.
Peter holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool John Moores and a Diploma in Dental Studies.
