An event to help dentists market their business more effectively is being hosted by a leading patient referral website called Dentists Near Me (DNM).

The CPD accredited DNM Marketing Workshop is being held at the British Dental Association headquarters in London on Thursday, March 10 and will start at 6.45pm.

A host of experts in marketing and dentistry have been lined up to speak at the conference, including the founder and managing director of DNM Matt Nejad, Siavash Mirfendereski from the Wimpole Dental Office and BDA member and principal dentist Mo Mobasseri.

The aim of the event is to enable dentists to help find new patients and to make sure they are utilising the search engine Google as effectively as they should be.

There will also be a focus on the benefits of social media and how it can be used to maximise business potential and attract new patients.

Online registration is now open and people are being asked to sign up early in order to avoid disappointment.

Siavash Mirfendereski has previously held the position of honorary associate clinical professor at The University of Warwick and is currently honorary clinical teaching fellow in education and development at the same institute.

He is currently the chairman of the British Dental Bleaching Society and is also the dental consultant for Chelsea Football Club. He said: “It can be hard for dentists to stand out in the industry, but proficient marketing techniques always help.

“It’s essential to listen to those who know what they are talking about when it comes to marketing, as they are the ones who hold the key in the failure or success of your business.”

Mat Nejad, managing director of DNM Corporation, said: “There is no easy strategy for dentists to market their services and skills, but the instant success of DNM in driving patient traffic to certain practices across London speaks in volume.

“There are an array of companies out there making claims they can’t fulfil in terms of marketing for dentists, making it extremely hard to differentiate between what is a good service and what is a waste of time and money.

“Our event is designed to showcase exactly how dentists can increase their traffic through a tried and trusted method, helping them to save a large amount of money in the process.”

DNM connects patients looking for dental treatment with skilled practitioners in their area, with the website proving to be a success in London since its inception.

Through a range of services, including search engine optimisation, offline marketing and website ranking boosts, DNM aims to boost the profile of dentists and clinics across the country.

Launched in May, 2015, DNM’s directory of dentists allows patients to find their closest practitioner to transform their smile through cosmetic surgery, or for a general health check-up.

As well as comparing services on offer through their search engine directory, DNM also showcases prices of dentists and clinics in your proximity to allow you to make the best decision.
