Founded in 2015 and based in Liverpool, CDS supplies clinic design and installation packages, including dental chairs, machinery and bespoke cabinets and reception desks, to trade businesses and the public sector in the UK.
Undertaking its manufacturing and fabrication in-house, CDS utilises custom state-of-the-art equipment, and has become known for the quality of its product range and craftsmanship.
In a transaction led by Andrew Dodd, KBS corporate director, CDS was sold to HiSpace, a provider of interior design and fit-out services to UK healthcare and veterinary practice owners.
Founded by Ryan Devenish, HiSpace creates innovative clinical environments, providing an end-to-end solution in the flow strategy, design, project management and construction of practices.
Glenn Devenish, managing director of HiSpace, said, “The acquisition and integration of CDS is a significant milestone for our business. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with the talented team to introduce their joinery capabilities into our portfolio.
“The addition of a specialist manufacturing facility will not only enable us to provide top-quality bespoke cabinetry for our design solutions, it will strengthen our position within the marketplace, which will also benefit new and existing clients.
“Our sister company, Global Dental, will continue to supply and install dental equipment and provide ongoing servicing and preventative maintenance. With our combined expertise under one roof, we will be able to provide a streamlined service from project concept to completion – design, project management, manufacturing and equipment.”
