Dentists have their say

Software of Excellence’s commitment to product development has been demonstrated this summer by a programme of User Forums.

The gatherings, of between three and four invited practices, have enabled Software of Excellence’s product manager, Faith Jenkin, and members of the development team to meet with customers and discuss how the various functions and modules within the practice management system EXACT, are used in daily practice. Importantly these events are also providing feedback and ideas on how EXACT can evolve further to meet the changing needs of the market.

During the most recent User Forum, three practices (NHS, private and mixed) discussed how they use EXACT and the functions they find most helpful, swapped tips on software shortcuts and exchanged views on a diverse range of topics including their own thoughts on what they consider to be the most serious challenges currently facing the profession.

Faith commented: ‘My role as product manager is to be the interface between our customers and the development team, so these events are of enormous value. We get first hand feedback from the market and because the groups are small, everybody gets a chance to have their say. From the customers’ point of view they find this interaction and networking with other practices to be a great benefit and are able to learn from each other.’
