Expand your expertise at the Dentistry Show with the Nordic Institute of Dental Education.

On stand L70 at this year’s Dentistry Show, The Planmeca Digital Academy in conjunction with its education partner The Nordic Institute of Dental Education will be hosting a series of lectures and hands on demonstrations about the ‘Power of Chairside Digital Dentistry’ and the ‘Integration of 3D CBCT Technology within General Practice’.

These one hour lectures and hands on demonstrations are aimed at all DCPs wanting to learn more about the current range of digital dental innovations and initiatives that continue to provide better dentistry through the use of new technology.

Rupert Austin, clinical lecturer in prosthodontics at King's College London Dental Institute, and Petri Kajander, NIDE lecturer, will deliver a programme of short lectures and hands on demonstrations about the clinical advantages that chairside digital restorative dentistry has to offer. Learn about the workflow for same day dentistry through to the utilisation of scanning the oral environment to achieve chairside restorations with incredible results.

In the hands on demonstrations you will discover more about advanced digital restorations, including same day crowns, inlays, onlays, bridges and veneers. You will also have the opportunity to connect with advanced solutions to see how easy it is to scan, design and manufacture your very own same day restoration.

Senior NIDE lecturer, Mark Niemi, will present the ‘Integration of 3D Technology within General Practice’ lecture. You will learn how 3D (CBCT) technology will impact your practice and your patients every day, from implant planning through to diagnosing the unseen and preventing further complications.  During the hands on demonstration you will design your first 3D virtual patient implant utilising Planmeca’s Romexis software.

Both lectures take place on Stand L70 across the two days of the show, with the first lecture starting at 10am, running every hour on the hour; the last lecture starts at 4pm.
