DPAS welcomes former practice manager to the team

08 August 2018

A former practice manager has joined DPAS, a leading practice-branded dental payment plan provider, as a business development consultant (BDC).

Mandy Griffiths, who is now the local contact for DPAS practices in South Wales, began her career in dentistry in 1991, training as a dental nurse.

She worked in an NHS practice until 2006 when it converted to private and became the practice manager in 2014 one year before it introduced DPAS dental plans.

Her knowledge of the DPAS brand and what it stands for, along with a desire for continual development that has seen her complete both a practice management course and a diploma in the principles of business management, instigated her latest career move to the plan provider.

Mandy said, “I decided I wanted to utilise my experience, the knowledge I’ve learned during my courses and do something different for a company I already knew and loved.

“Having such recent experience of working in practice, and being a former DPAS customer, is already proving to be a real strength. I’ve been able to offer my first-hand advice on going through a Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) inspection and how to make best use of DPAS’ dental plan management system, Supportal, to my practices.
