mydentist has won a Platinum Award in the Occupational Health and Safety Awards, presented by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

It recognises exceptional commitment to effective health and safety management.

mydentist has 655 practices around the country providing both NHS and private dentistry to millions of patients.

Steve Williams, clinical services director, comments: “We take health and safety extremely seriously at mydentist. We want to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our colleagues to work in, as well as ensure our patients are reassured of consistent standards throughout our practice network.

“There has been significant investment over the past five years in health in safety, not only financial but in training too. This award is testament to the excellent work the health and safety team has done at instilling a safety conscious ethos throughout the organisation. I’d like to thank them and the entire mydentist team, as it’s those working in practice day to day that ensure we all work in a safe environment.”

The RoSPA Awards are open to organisations of all sizes, both in the UK and internationally. They include both competitive and non-competitive awards, as well as awards for specialist areas of health and safety. RoSPA is a charity that has been at the heart of accident prevention for nearly 100 years and a driving force behind improving safety and occupational health in organisations worldwide.

mydentist also won Gold RoSPA Award earlier in the year.
