All the staff at the Boyatt Wood Dental Centre in Eastleigh, Hampshire, turned out in fancy dress to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

‘This charity is very close to our hearts’, said Peter Saund, the principal of the practice, ‘as we all know someone who has been affected by this disease.

Peter lost his wife Veena, through ovarian cancer in 2007 after a hard fought five year battle. Christmas competitions were held and gift bags were handed out. It was a fun filled day and the total raised for the event was £908.13, making it a successful and enjoyable day for staff and patients alike.
