Free CQC guidance

With the Care Quality Commission registration under way, and many dentists feeling the pressure of assessing their levels of compliance and meeting the deadlines, Practice Plan has developed guidance notes for completing the application process, to help support their own clients, and anyone else who needs assistance.

All providers of dental care will need to be registered with the CQC by April 1, 2011, in order to continue to practise legally. For this to be guaranteed, those dental practitioners who need to register will be asked to complete an application form and submit it during an allocated window that will end no later than December 31, 2010.

With that in mind, Practice Plan has created an electronic guide to assist with the completion of the form. In producing the document Practice Plan has consulted with and obtained guidance from the CQC. To download a copy of the user friendly guide, visit www.practiceplan.co.uk/cqc
