Implantology course
One of the most hands-on implantology courses available in the UK provides a comprehensive introduction for general dental practitioners who wish to incorporate the treatment into their practices.
Commencing in October 2010, the Simply Excellence Year Programme is presented by Koray Feran and Sanjay Sethi in London. Further details can be found on www.courses4implants.com, the online version of Dentsply Friadent’s implantology skills development programme.
According to Koray Feran, ‘The course enables participants to gain contemporary knowledge and practical hands-on experience. It covers every aspect of modern implant dentistry and related restorative and surgical topics.’
First presented in 2003, the programme is delivered in accordance with GDC guidelines. It includes the delegates’ treatment of their own patients, from initial planning to final prosthetics. Sanjay Sethi adds, ‘Upon completion of the course delegates are able to confidently assess, diagnose and treat patients requiring implants, within the scope of general restorative and surgical dentistry.’
