The British Society of Dental Sleep Medicine (BSDSM) is again holding its popular ‘Introduction to Dental Sleep Medicine’ course for dentists and dental technicians on Friday, November 27, in London.

This course enables you to introduce dental sleep medicine in your practice or laboratory – it is estimated that there are approximately 1.5m adults in the UK who have obstructive sleep apnoea but only about 330,000 are diagnosed and treated.

The one day course includes an overview of sleep disordered breathing, how oral appliances work (with hands-on experience), how to safely assess and monitor patients and practical advice on introducing a dental sleep medicine service into your practice or laboratory.

The BSDSM Introduction to Sleep Medicine course is on Friday, November 27, at City Hotel, Osborn Street, London E1 6TE. It runs from 9.30am to 5.30pm and qualifies for six hours of verifiable CPD.

The cost is £298 for BSDSM members and £350 for non-members. All delegates receive the BSDSM screening protocol.
