Volume 26 · Issue 1

The Malcolm Pendlebury Lecture, hosted by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) every two years, will be presented this year by Trudie Roberts, professor of medical education and director of the medical education unit at the University of Leeds.

The lecture is entitled ‘Is professionalism still required for modern healthcare delivery?’ and will take place at 6pm on Friday, March 5, 2010, at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS), London. Admission is free.

The lecture will precede the FGDP(UK) annual dinner, a black-tie event held in the magnificent surroundings of the RCS's great hall. The evening will begin with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course meal and musical entertainment, and is open to all dental professionals, sponsors and their guests.
