This year, for the first time, {my}dentist invited all UK clinicians to attend its Clinical Conference to hear from key industry figures about the future of dentistry. Now, clinicians who are unable to join in person will have the opportunity to join some of the sessions online.
Viewers will also be able to ask questions on the Facebook live feed, which will be put to the speakers, live on the stage.
Streaming will take place at www.facebook.com/mydentistcareers at the following times:

- Discussion on current challenges to dentistry access including affordability and NHS care
- Clinical panel featuring updates on periodontics from Soha Dattani (head of scientific affairs for GSK Consumer), paediatric dentistry from Prof. Sondos Albadi (professor and honorary consultant at the University of Liverpool), patient access from Barry Cockcroft (former CDO), and orthodontics from Petra Rumpf (Global Head of DSOs at Straumann) and Andy Wallace from IAS Academy
2.50pm
- The modern era of smile makeovers with Dr Affan Saghir
- How {my}dentist is supporting patients & clinicians for the future, with contributions from clinicians and support team members from around the UK
- Exec Q&A
Nyree Whitley, {my}dentist Clinical Director, said, “We’re expecting some interesting debates between our speakers and plenty of opportunity to consider the future of dentistry. By going live, we can open the doors to even more clinicians as well as all of our teams around the UK.
