Michael van Aarde, territory manager for London and surrounding counties, is a qualified dental technician who has worked in several dental laboratories across the south of England. He has extensive knowledge in crown and bridge work, and a special interest in restoring dental implants and CAD/CAM restorations.
Meanwhile, Jeanette Jacobs, also territory manager for London and surrounding counties, qualified as a dental nurse at King’s College Dental Hospital and, over the last 16 years, has accumulated extensive experience of dentals implants, working in various roles within the industry. She has also worked in a large dental laboratory, and so is equipped with knowledge from the lab perspective.
Also now on the team is Ciara Leahy, territory manager for the North West. Ciara’s education and work focus has been on healthcare and positive business solutions for over 10 years. Her career, in part, has been dedicated to customer support, organisational strategy and training needs, enabling her to offer customers unique insight into how to build a successful implant practice.
Last but by no means least, Dean Lenihan, territory manager for the South East, has spent much of his career in retail management and previously held a sales and merchandising role at GlaxoSmithKline. Dean is delighted to return to a sales position at BioHorizons.
The territory managers will report to Ben Hogben, director of UK sales and operations. Ben said, “The appointment of our new team members signals the start of a new era for BioHorizons. We really want the dental world to understand our innovative solutions and, by expanding our sales force on the ground, this will enable us to assist more dental practices in achieving their business aspirations.”
