Figures released from the British Dental Association have found that 50 per cent of people in the UK do not attend the dentist for regular check-ups.

As a result of this Ollie and Darsh, a leading UK dental practice, have decided to highlight how the UK is turning into a dental time bomb for poor oral health through an infographic.

Each year millions of people ignore that all important letter notifying them of their annual dental check-up. As a result of this, more and more people are suffering from tooth decay and gum disease. However, the simple fact is that by visiting the dentist on a regular basis it can help to reduce the risk of tooth decay by 60 per cent and prevent future health risks such as heart disease, pneumonia and diabetes.

Ollie and Darsh created the infographic in support of National Smith Month, an annual event that is running from the May 20th to June 20th 2013 and is organised by the British Dental Association to create awareness for the importance of good oral health.
