Young’s Dental Practice was in celebratory mood when it marked 30 years to the day that it opened its doors. Practice owners, Kirk and Sheena Young, were joined by staff and current patients including two of the very first patients they treated.

Kim Mallinder and Louise Boddye were guests of honour at the event held to mark the special anniversary and their 30 years of loyalty to the Snaith-based surgery.

Young’s is one of the UK’s leading preventive dental practices and incorporates minimal intervention dentistry as standard. Named Preventive Practice of the Year in 2010, Kirk and Sheena have always striven to promote the importance of preventive techniques in the surgery, supported by an at-home regime.

One of the contributory factors to their recent success has been the introduction of a dental plan administered by DPAS, which helps provide patients with the treatment and support necessary to control dental disease and maintain excellent oral health.

The husband and wife team firmly believe DPAS’s practice-branded dental plans were fundamental in helping them achieve their recent ‘Preventive Practice of the Year’ title, an award which is designed to recognise the UK practice with the strongest and best established preventive ethos. The plan remains a key component in making preventive treatments more affordable for patients, without compromising the ethos and quality of dentistry provided; more prevention, less treatment, less cost.
