The new Practice Manager Forums are designed to provide an opportunity for practice managers up and down the UK to take a day out and concentrate on their own professional growth and development.

Building on its long history of providing relevant, informative and fun training events for the whole practice team, Denplan has launched a series of practice manager forums, to take place around the country.

The day’s programme includes topic such as:

Appraisals and personal development plans: how to make these work for you and your team

HR issues: complex HR procedures including the hiring or firing of staff, maternity leave and staff sickness

Goal mapping: how to put your ideas into practise and maximise opportunities

Updates on regulations such as HTM 01-05, sharps management, direct access and new GDC standards

That’s the ‘World of Denplan’ for you: a forum designed to update you on all things Denplan

Simon Eve, Denplan’s events manager, says: “The role of the practice manager has grown enormously over the last few years, with many now taking responsibility for areas such as PR, marketing, human resources and regulatory compliance. To give your best and to get the best from your team, it’s sometimes necessary to take a step back and consider whether you could benefit from additional training, share the experiences of others in similar roles, or be inspired by those who have had particular success in their practice. We’re incredibly proud of our practice manager forums as they allow practice managers to do just that, while networking with their peers and hopefully having a fun and informative day as well.”
