Griffith selected the DentSim v5 after examining other systems and determining that DentSim meets the needs of its students. The Advanced Simulation Lab at Griffith University will open during the summer of 2015. All students will learn and sharpen fundamental skills of operative dentistry in this state of the art lab.

Research on skill acquisition at the Griffith University School of Dentistry parallels skills acquisition research utilising DentSim.  Both research directions demonstrate an educational premium arising from the practice of skills as well as from the practice of complete preps.  The Advanced Simulation Lab will be an integral part of the skills acquisition research at The School of Dentistry and Oral Health at Griffith University.
