Quality Compliance Systems (QCS), a leading provider of content, guidance and policies for the dental sector, has created a pre-registration pack for new dental practices.
The pack has been specifically designed to seamlessly guide new providers, those buying an existing service from another dental practice, or those creating a new legal entity, through the registration process.
The pre-registration pack, which contains over 50 pieces of content including policies, procedures and guides – all of which conform to CQC standards – encompasses everything needed to register with the CQC up until the interview stage. The guidance includes, but is not limited to, policies relating to financial viability and business plan templates, while there is also guidance detailing how providers should best tackle a statement of purpose. In terms of medication, the pack also contains a medicine policy bundle and a full suite of posters to display at the surgery.
QCS’s head of primary care, Tracy Green said, “QCS’s decision to create a comprehensive suite of curated policies, procedures, templates and posters for providers will give Practice Managers and Principles all the tools they need to navigate the registration process. Not only this – we also believe that utilising the pre-registration pack will save managers hundreds of hours that they can put to good use elsewhere, such as preparing for the CQC interview or recruiting and training staff. Most of all, we’re looking forward to putting the tool in the hands of providers and helping them on the first-step of their compliance journey.”
