A record number of clinicians have joined {my}dentist since the coronavirus pandemic as dentists seek to combine the security of an NHS contract, the stability of the largest provider of dentistry in the country, and the support to build a career that is right for them.
In September, 163 new dentists joined {my}dentist, the highest monthly total on record, and a further 300 clinicians are set to join before the end of the year.
{my}dentist is actively recruiting self-employed dentists as well as increasing the number of employed positions across its 597 UK practices.
Nyree Whitley, group clinical director at {my}dentist, said, “Dentists tell us they’ve been attracted to {my}dentist because we can offer the security of an NHS contract, as well as greater stability and support. This includes offering mentoring and training opportunities to help clinicians build their careers.
“Our new clinicians have also told us that they wanted to join the team because they’ve been impressed by how we’re responding to the pandemic. As a practising clinician, that’s something I’m incredibly proud of.”
