The General Dental Council’s recruitment to fill the roles of chair and council nember is now open, ahead of the terms of office for two of its existing members coming to an end later this year.
The regulator is required to maintain an equal split of dental professionals and non-registrants (lay members) on its council and is accordingly inviting applications from both lay and registrant individuals for both roles.
The GDC is seeking people with the relevant skills and experience, an interest in dentistry and a shared vision for a system of regulation which supports the provision of safe, effective oral health care.
