The actress not only walked away with the Best Soap Actress award for playing Weatherfield’s distressed businesswoman Carla Connor, but also had a gleaming IPS e.max smile to match her dazzling outfit.
Blaming her thumb sucking habit as a child for needing six teeth crowned ten years ago at a London dental practice, former dental nurse Alison wasn’t left with the smile she deserved: “As an actress onscreen I’d began to notice how my top and bottom front teeth had been pushed into the middle where my thumb had been! The inside bottom four teeth around the gum line were much shorter than the rest of the teeth. In just one week, Alison underwent a crown lengthening procedure to support the new IPS e.max crown restorations. Treatment time, from start to finish, took just two appointments to create the smile she deserved. “I wanted a smile that didn’t look out of character, and together John and Jonathan really did make happen what other dentist’s had said was impossible. I'm truly indebted to them forever and smiling happily!”said Alison.
