Oasis Dental Care, a UK leader in private and specialist dentistry and a major provider of NHS services, has raised £45,000 for charity after a day of fundraising recently took place dubbed ‘Super Saturday’.

The Super Saturday event saw hundreds of Oasis Dental Care practices across the UK opening their doors to provide additional dental services on the day, whilst encouraging patients to dig deep and donate to charity.

The day saw 20 per cent of all profits made being donated to Bridge2Aid and local charities; Bridge2Aid is Oasis’s national charity, which provides essential dental care to poverty stricken children across the developing world and also local charities.

From cake bakes to raffles, staff nationwide also took part in additional fundraising activities in aid of a wide range of local charities chosen by the individual practices.

Justin Ash, CEO of Oasis Dental Care which is headquartered in Bristol, added: “Oasis is dedicated to supporting charity and I am delighted that we have been able to support so many charities across the UK, as well as our chosen national charity Bridge2Aid who provide vital dental services to some of the poorest areas in Africa.

“I would like to thank Oasis staff across all of our practices for helping to raise as much as they did, and we are delighted to also contribute 20 per cent of all profit from dental services each practice made on the day. Through activities such as this we ensure our dental practices remain an integral part of the communities they serve.”
