The Dental Awards has teamed up with The Dentistry Show in order to host next year’s awards ceremony during the show’s two-day event, which takes place on  April 17-18 at the NEC Birmingham.

Being held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel – just seconds from the NEC – on the evening of Friday April 17, Purple Media Solutions’ 17th annual Dental Awards will recognise the outstanding individuals and teams whose commitment and drive continues to raise standards throughout UK dentistry.

Director of Purple Media Solutions, Ed Hunt, is delighted to be working with The Dentistry Show to further establish The Dental Awards as the industry’s most respected awards event in the UK.

He commented, “Purple Media Solutions, publisher of The Probe, is delighted to be hosting The Dental Awards alongside The Dentistry Show in 2015 as both events are designed to encourage and celebrate excellence in dental care amongst our profession.

“Visitors to the Show will now be able to round off their day by attending The Dental Awards to find out if they have won one of the coveted awards at the profession’s premier awards night, as well as enjoying a night of fun, entertainment and great food in the company of fellow clinicians.

“We believe this collaboration will enable both events to continue to flourish, enabling us to further enhance our support and recognition of the profession.”

Chris Brown, event director of The Dentistry Show, added, “The Awards will provide a fantastic new opportunity for delegates at the Show to get involved with the profession, while celebrating their many triumphs in the last year.

“Once again ensuring The Dentistry Show is at the very forefront of the modern industry, The Dental Awards 2015 will offer an even more varied and exciting social and networking programme.

“We are thrilled to be supporting the dental profession in this way, and we look forward to hosting such a highly distinguished and respected event.”

The Dental Awards is free to enter and is supported by the UK’s leading dental magazine publishers. It is a premier awards programme recognising UK dentistry.

Winning or becoming a finalist is a tremendous accolade and provides a massive boost to the profile of the practice and team. After all, who wouldn’t want to be treated by the Dentist or the Dental Team of the Year?

Having consistently recognised the very best in UK dentistry for 16 years now, the winners of the 2015 Awards will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner, which will include the presentation of the awards, a four-course dinner and entertainment, followed by a disco until the early hours. This is always a wonderful evening and is great way to thank your team and celebrate all that is best in a profession that rarely gets the full credit it deserves.

The Dental Awards 2015 is now open for entries, so don’t delay in submitting a nomination. Nominating a team member is great for morale, nominating a team makes them feel even more valued and nominating yourself shows you have confidence in your abilities and often leads to great new opportunities.

Previous winners have been amazed at the attention they have received from patients and the profession. Previous winners have commented:

“The Dental Awards recognises individuals who make a practice a success. Winning has been overwhelming.” Monika Patel, dental hygienist.

“We’re all so proud of our achievement, we still talk about it to this day and so do our patients, which adds to our sense of pride.” Sharon El-Nashar, practice manager at El-Nashar Dental Care.

“The evening was so full of emotion; I don’t think I will ever experience anything like that again.” Jane Armitage, practice manager at Thompson & Thomas.
