Woman for the future

Volume 26 · Issue 10

Ogo Eze, founder of a fast-growing cosmetic and general dental practice in central London, has been shortlisted for the Woman of the Future award.

Founded and chaired by Pinky Lilani, the awards celebrate the rising stars of business, the arts, science, technology and media, honouring women aged 35 and under who are making an impact in their chosen fields.

Ogo built her own dental practice in the west end of London at age 27, she became a volunteer mentor for children with Urban Synergy CIC Mentoring Group in 2007, and in 2008 she became a media spokesperson for the British Dental Association. More recently (July 2010) she was appointed as a clinical teacher at King’s College London where she gives up her time for free to prepare the final year students for dental practice life.

The 2010 shortlist also includes Thea Green, founder of cosmetics company Nails Inc, Cathy Bishop, one of the brightest engineering sparks at multi-disciplinary design group BDP, Lisa Smosarski, editor of Stylist magazine and Anna Bance, founder of online fashion retailer Girl Meet Dress.
