The Dental Awards is in its 18th year and recognises the achievements of both teams and individuals from across the UK.
The award win comes following a significant period of growth for Andrea Ubhi Dentistry. The business has doubled in size over the past year, having moved from Stonegate to a newly renovated practice in Goodramgate. Following a £600,000 investment the new practice houses four state of the art surgeries, two waiting rooms, disabled access and the latest technology including digital CT Scanning equipment. The move also created seven new jobs to create a 20 strong team and meet increased demand.
Andrea Ubhi Dentistry was the chosen winner of ‘Team of the Year’ from a shortlist of other finalists based throughout the UK. Finalists were judged on criteria such as reputation, core values, team ethos, leadership and how the practice is managed to continually improve the quality of clinical care and patient experience.
Andrea Ubhi, owner of Andrea Ubhi Dentistry who also won ‘Dentist of the Year North’ in 2013, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won this award. I have an amazing team and it is fantastic that they have been given the recognition that they deserve on such a prestigious national stage. The past year has been a hugely demanding time for them with the change in premises and growth of the business and they have all put in so much effort. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow the business with such a great team around me.”
Andrea Ubhi Dentistry is a leader in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, porcelain veneers, orthodontics and aesthetic dentures. The practice serves the needs of clients throughout the North of England and also takes referrals from other dentists in Yorkshire for more complex procedures, in particular dental implants and cosmetic dental treatments.
